Health research programmes and initiatives can have a lasting impact for the long term development of recipient countries, if a sustained investment is made in developing an effective national system for health research.

If you are a donor or research funder supporting health research in low and middle income countries, we can provide input and approaches to include system strengthening and research capacity strengthening as a part of your work.

This can include technical support to your programme or partner countries’, tools and approaches explaining a system approach can add value to your work, or a strategic advice and capacity building linked to programme design.

COHRED also partners with donors and research sponsors interested in providing their skills and expertise to support countries in strengtheing their systems for health reserach.
